My Top 6 Beauty Products

I thought i'd kick start my blog by sharing 6 of my favourite beauty products of the moment!

1. My first product is the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip protectant. This is literally one of my all time favourite things in the world! I've been using it for about 2 years now and I can honestly say this gets my chapped lips sorted straight away! It Moisturises, softens and soothes lips with sunscreen protection and contains Vitamin E. Perfect companion to your make up bag!

2. OGX Argan oil of Morrocco is a product i have been loving for the past year. My hair is so damaged due to the amount of times i've had it dyed and used heat and this oil is perfect to run through my hair before I blow dry/leave it to dry. It's not greasy, isn't sticky and doesn't leave my hair looking disgusting once dry. It makes it shiny and sleek and protects my split ends. Claiming to rapidly restore shine & softness whilst strengthening it, it certainly does the what it states! A saviour from God!!

3. My next product is something I first heard about from Caroline Hirons and have returned to using this year, the Pixi Glow Tonic. I used it a few years ago, loved it but then didn't re-purchase it and decided to buy it a few months ago as to see if it could help with my problematic skin. I'm so glad I did! This exfoliating toner does exactly what it says and leaves my skin feeling fresh & clean. The fact that this beauty brand is animal cruelty free just adds to the fact that its suitable for all skin types and exfoliates & purifies skin with Glycolic Acid which gently renews skin to become more radiant and healthy. 10/10 from me!

4. My favourite beauty product of all time... Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer (Oil free). OMG. I remember the days I didn't use primer, how did I survive? This thing is the most amazing product i've ever used. It seriously works wonders and is worth all the hype. It makes applying foundation so much easier & smoother and i'm left with perfect looking skin all day. I can always tell when i've forgotten to apply it and a few hours pass and my face looks like no foundation has touched it! It minimises pores and lines, blurrs my imperfections and helps make up go on flawlessly. Please, if you're going to take anything from this post, let it be to buy this. Cannot stress to you enough how much your life will change!!!

5. Another Make-up favourite, something that I yet again have only started using this year, MAC cosmetics Studio Careblend Pressed Powder. This is my first 'not drug-store' powder I have purchased and I have to give it to MAC, its pretty impressive. When I first got it, I thought it may end up making me look 'cakey' and 'Year 9 - just got into make up try hard', but I was wrong. I quickly changed my mind when I saw how light it was and felt on my skin but how much coverage it also gave. I mostly use this over foundation in my T Zone and apply it with the pressed sponge it came with or a light powder brush. This keeps my oily areas under control without going patchy or clingy. However, I have also worn this alone and it gives a subtle coverage whilst again controlling my oily areas. Does what it says on the tin!

6. My final product is something I have only been using for the last 3 weeks but i have rapidly seen amazing results from. Over the last 3 months my skin has been the worst yet. I've been trying to find something to clear up my skin and nourish it without overwhelming or suffocating it. 24K Gold & Manuka Honey Face Oil is the most perfect tiny bottle in the world. Not only is the application fun and easy, you hardly need any to cover your face. Leaving behind a subtle glow and shine, I apply it either on a night before bed or early morning/make-up free day. It has already left my skin brighter and has slightly improved my problem areas. It claims to leave skin firmer & revitalised after 28 days and I know for a fact that is going to be the case!
