I dont think I'm the only person who thought 2018 flew by but I actually cannot believe how quick it went! So much happened within last year but it seems like two minutes I was writing my 2018 post on here stating how much I was going to try and progress with my blog..I think I did one post after that, what a fail!

2018 was a big year for me. Looking back on it, 2018 was a platform for 2019. I believe it was a year that laid everything out for me. I graduated University, moved into my own home and I got a full-time 9-5 job. In my eyes it was the first step to actually becoming the woman I want to be and gave me the essentials to progress in my life a lot quicker than I ever imagined. Even though I graduated university and didn't end up in a job which even related to my degree, I believe the position I am in has given me opportunities to learn and gain skills I didn't have. Which is only a positive!

Going into 2019 I have a plan. I have a few goals I want to achieve and a few New Year Resolutions but I also want to continue with this page and really take it serious. Just before Christmas I got the urge to write so many posts and then all of a sudden, things got busy at work, I had Christmassy things to do and I lost my motivation. I felt like the posts I had in mind weren't anything relate-able or what people wanted to read. But I've decided that I am going to write about what I WANT to write about, not what I think others want me to write. And that's one of my goals for 2019. To try and get at least 4 blog posts out a month, on things I want to discuss and to not put any pressure on myself.

I am not going to go into them too much because they're personal and unique to myself but I thought I'd share them so I could look back in December to see if I had achieved any. This time last year, the goals I set myself I actually achieved! And it feels so good so I thought I'd go all out this year!

1. Be MORE positive about everything. I have recently started reading 'The Secret' which so far is fab and I am going to use the law of attraction to attract all things good in 2019.

2. Get back into the gym. I know how good I feel after a work out and how happy I was within myself when I had a routine going on which is why I want to push myself to get back into a nice steady routine this year.

3. Read More. I think this was on my goals for last year and to be completely honest, I didn't read much! So I have about 6 books waiting to be read on my desk. I love it when I get into it, its just making time to do it!

4. Spend more time with family. Self explanatory.

5. Give to charity. Whether its donating food or clothes I would love to give to those in need and it can be so simple and easy to do so!

6. Learn more. I LOVE the feeling of learning something new, which makes me miss University. Listening to podcasts has been something I have been dabbling into recently and its such as nice way to pick up new things. (Fearne Cotton's podcast is great!)

7. Eat better. I'm not saying any strict diets, just better choices. Over the last 4/5 months I have really just not given a shit about what I put in my body and I have noticed a lot in not only my weight but my skin and mental health too. I also want to learn more about food and the different vitamins my body needs in order to be its best. (I found out in 2018 that I had a low deficiency of vitamin D, which a lot of people in the UK will have and I got medication for it - thinking about doing a blog post on it and how it was making me feel etc.?)

8. Sort out my finances. I would love to sort out all my outgoings and get them in order properly. Renting a house makes it extremely hard to save but I am determined to start putting money aside and stop myself buying unnecessary items!

I think those 8 goals/resolutions sum up what I want to achieve in 2019 to be a healthier, happier and more positive version of myself that I can be. I would love to learn about crystals and meditation and they are just a couple of things I have in my mind which I am hoping to try out to help fuel my goals and get me to where I want to be,

I am working on a blog post about my current beauty favourites which will hopefully be up at the end of this week (I'm sure I said that last time so sorry...)

Until next time,

Chloe x
