Hey Everyone,

This weeks blog post is a little later than usual due to the amazing weather we have had over the last week. I have been enjoying time out in the sun with my little family but didn't want to miss an upload completely this week so here is a mid-week post.

A few weeks ago I posted a Skincare Favourites post and today I am going to talk about my other love...Beauty. During lockdown, I dont know about anyone else but I've hardly worn any make up. Its been nice to let my skin breathe. However, I have also been spending way to much online shopping and have found some little gems throughout so i thought I'd share a few of the products I've been loving recently. Also, all images are shop-able, just click on them and they will link you to the website.

The Ordinary Full Coverage Foundation

First off is a product from a brand I have been loving recently. At first I didn't like this foundation at all. I felt like it didn't apply properly to my face and wasn't full coverage at all. However, I swapped out how i was applying it by using a stippling brush and now its my favourite. Its not thick but it does give good coverage and it is very buildable. I got mine in shade 2.1Y and went off reviews I'd seen online for my colour match as its very hard to tell what the shade is actually going to look like on a picture. Unfortunately, the shade is a bit too dark for my natural colour however when I mix it with a light concealer its fine and it also means its perfect for when i fake tan. At £5.95 the price of this is incredible and you can pick it up from a lot of online stores including ASOS, PLT and Beauty Bay.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

Next up, as I am sure you are all aware, is the best concealer ever. I had very high hopes about this as I'd seen so many people rave about it but as it was £20 I had never dared to test it out. Last month, Tarte did a flash sale on their Shape Tape Concealer and had it at half price! So I couldn't refuse (I'm very easily convinced) and ordered the Shade 20s Light Sand which as described online is for light skin with yellow undertones. I picked the perfect shade as its great to mix in with darker foundations but also really good to high light the undereye. It's very good coverage but not cakey at all and I didn't want to like it this much as now I'm going to want to purchase it at full price when i run out. Fabulous.

Iconic London Illuminator - Shade Blush

This was one of those products that get raved about all over Instagram and I never bought into it as I couldn't work out whether it was actually that good. I ended up getting this from a friend as she didn't like it but I fell in love with it straight away! Depending what make up look I'm going for, i either use it as a base for my foundation and apply it everywhere or i apply it as a normal highlighter on the high points of my face. Its such a gorgeous colour and creates a very glowy look when mixed with tinted moisturiser too. It illuminates your face and gives it a dewy but not greasy look. It would work perfect for holidays as you could even put it on legs or collar bones to enhance a tan.

Eyelure Dybrow

I usually get my brows Laminated from the brow Queen at Fennylane Derma Aesthetics however since lockdown, they have got out of control. As some of you may know, i was training to do HD Brows before all this started and will be continuing to do so after my little bubba is born. So for now, I'm trying to maintain my brows by shaping and plucking them every now and again. I love the look of fuller brows so I dont go over board but i really wanted a good Brow Dye which didn't last just a few days. I did some research and this one came out on top every time. I have tried this a long time ago but they have since then changed the formula and its 10x better! Its very easy to do and doesn't take long but lasts around 2/3 weeks which is perfect. It cost around £8 and will last so long, highly recommend if you feel confident enough to do it!

NARS Orgasm Blush

Finally, my favourite blush EVER. I got a mini of this for free with an order I placed on the Nars website and even though i'd heard many great things, i was not expecting to love it this much. Its the perfect mixture of pink and flex's of gold and looks gorgeous with or without a tan. I cant fault it at all and I am so happy I found something subtle enough to wear daily but also perfect enough to build on for a more full coverage make up look. I will be re-purchasing this full size!

At the moment that's all I have to talk about Beauty wise! I have a By Terry Package coming very soon which I cannot wait to tell you all about and If anyone has any products you're loving at the moment or any holy grail products you use, tell me!

I hope this time is treating you all well, is it me or is this starting to feel a bit normal now? Which is meaning everything re-opening just feels odd? I am holding back going anywhere at the moment because of how busy its going to be. But i cannot wait until i can go do a HUGE Primark haul, hehehe.

Thank you for reading and have a lovely week!

Until next time,

Chloe x
