Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I uploaded a post on here and a lot has changed! I seem to do this a lot.. I write a post stating some big life changes and then don't do anymore for months down the line. Sigh*

But it's currently the 26th of April 2020 and the Coronavirus Lockdown here in the UK is in full swing. It's technically not a full lockdown as we are still able to go out for exercise and to do essential food shopping. However, it's still such an odd time and hopefully writing this post will mean I can look back on this time feeling grateful for such a crazy yet relaxing time it has been. At the same time, it is obviously extremely scary and for the last 4 weeks I have found myself worrying and overthinking about a lot which has led to me not watching or listening to the news as much because it's making me and a lot of others worse. As long as we're trying our best to stick to the rules, socially distancing from people outside of our household 2 metres apart and washing our hands regularly, we are doing enough.

Quite honestly, everything seems to be a bit 'normal' now with it going on for so long. Simple things such as going to McDonald's or for a browse in the shops are impossible and even going to the supermarket is a very odd experience. My days usually consist of reading, walking Dakota and eating. I tend to go to a supermarket/food shop once a week and that's about it for now. However, online shopping has dramatically increased which means as first thought, saving money isn't as easy as i would've assumed... especially with all the amazing deals brands are doing. But there are other big things going on in my life at the moment too.

On December 30th, 2019, we found out we were expecting a Baby!

As you may have read in other posts, me and Zac were living in rented accommodation however, due to it not being the right home to bring our Baby into, we decided to move back in with family in February to save some money to then get somewhere else closer to the Baby's due date. Obviously, at the time we didn't know the Covid-19 situation was going to escalate to this and now unfortunately, we are living apart during this pandemic so that's not great. And with us not being able to work, life's a little complicated at the moment.

Out little Bubba is Due in September 2020 and we are expecting a little boy! We found out the sex at an early gender scan which I will explain in more depth on a separate post based on my first trimester in pregnancy. We are super excited and are starting to be a little more prepared as I'm currently 21 Weeks Pregnant.

The doggies are also having a big change as we have had to separate them due to us moving back home. I have Dakota with me who is a little Angel and Zac has taken my baby boy Zeus with him. I miss Zeus so much but they're both doing very well apart and I just can't wait to be back living all together as a family hopefully before our new arrival.

So that is what is going on at the moment. I am planning on doing a First Trimester Blog post and also an Essentials for Pregnancy post within the next week to share this experience with you guys as much as possible.

I can't wait to write more!

Until next time,

Chlo xo
